LIRV

LIRV (noun, acronym)
Low-Income Right-Wing Voter

A person who consistently votes for conservative politicians and policies that actively work against their own financial and social interests. LIRVs are often manipulated by culture wars, fear-mongering, and bad faith media into believing that billionaires, corporations, and right-wing elites actually have their backs—despite said elites never lifting a finger to improve their quality of life.
"My uncle just voted against raising the minimum wage again. Classic LIRV behavior."

"Bro lives in a trailer park but thinks taxing the rich is communism. Full-blown LIRV."

"LIRVs out here worrying about pronouns while their boss cuts their hours and their rent goes up 30%."
