An FPS for the PS3, releasing Feb 22, 2010. Often loved by PS3 owners, and hated by Xbox owners. Because of this, it is hard to find an unbaised opinion about it, so play it yourself before you let any one tell you that it is a good or bad game.
PS3 user: Killzone 3 is "The Halo Killer".
Xbox user: No Halo is way better than that peice of garbage.
Sensible Person: Niether of one have ever played both games. You have only played the one on your console, so can either of you really make a fair comparison?
killzowned: to be dominated, humiliated, or proven wrong in relation to Killzone 2.
A mix of owned and Killzone 2.
This urban word spread on gaming forums from the revealing of Killzone 2 at E3 2007, which despite many doubts and bashing, still received positive feedback. The word then became used by some fans to go against those that claimed the game will be a complete failure or went on to use it after a Helghast or other soldier got popped in the head, or humiliatingly killed.
"The Killzone 2 haters got killzowned." -post E3 07 comments.
1) An area of terrain that is well defended, creating a killing ground for enemy troops
2) A good FPS game for PS2, that should not be compared to Halo as they are too dissimilar in style to be compared effectively. Halo takes a vastly different approach to the space opera genre to Killzone. While Halo decided to focus on fast-paced human vs alien combat with exotic weaponry, Killzone was designed to be a brutal and gritty human civil war in space, and it succeeds in creating a dark, post-apocalyptic atmosphere which is exciting, dramatic and thrilling in its own way.
i.e. stop saying that Killzone was/wasn't a halo-beater and just have fun!
"Killzone is visually amazing and the gameplay rocks harder than you dare dream" -OPS2 Magazine Issue 51 (October 2004)
an exclusive ps3 tittle that can put any xbox 360 to shame. One of the best looking and fun games out there. It is better that Call of Duty, and Halo. A game with an excellent online on psn.
Sister: This meeting was to discuss the rough draft of my essay, where we discussed the subsidiary questions I added in my rough draft. We also discussed the relationship between my main title and the real-life situations I chose to use in my essay. We discussed the structure of my essay as well, specifically the Math AOK section and how it relates to the contradiction of the title. This second meeting was particularly helpful in discussing the implications of my essay claims and how to apply the title across various areas of knowledge. There were many sections of the essay that could have been cut down in wordiness and the ways of knowing required further and more in-depth analysis.
An absolutely foolproof way to keep minors from viewing content deemed "too mature" for them to watch.
Billy: "So I was trying to watch some videos for an M rated game, and I ran into an age gate, so I put in my real birthday. SOMEHOW it managed to figure out that I am 12. CURSE YOU AGE GATE!!!"
Bill: "Fucking age gate! *quick scroll* THERE! I was born on January 1, 1904. Fuck you age gate."
