intellij is also been developed by smart people from jetbrain

Intellij ide support projects from eclipse IDE but not otherwise because eclipse don't have so much feature and thats why developers says 'intellij ide != eclipse IDE'

Guy1: Hey should i use eclipse IDE?
Everyone: No use intellij IDE.
