A derogatory term used to refer to some Indians, implying they are filthy, uncivilized, aggressively nationalistic and surprisingly fruity. Often used to mock their percieved backwardness and extreme ethnic pride.

This universal term can reference tribal characteristics, feelings, and or tendencies. It is a term of endearment for those who appear to be mountain-men or of natural based living styles. If your hair is nappy or wild you can be classified as "indigy". For those most "indigy" the distinction of chief will be granted to them by their peers.
