Ignominite

A person who pushes a door instead of pulling it (and vice versa).

(Note, the word can be changed to "ignominiting" to describe the action)

a semantic widening, almost, of the word ignominious in the fact that it means something embarrassing, and the action is embarrassing for most people.
"You ignominite!", "You total ignominite!", "Oh, look, he/she's ignominiting!" etc.

ignominious

A person so incompetent and excessivley stupid, that they are unworthy to be a part of society and should be cast out of the sight (and more importantly hearing range) of all other human beings. They are more commonly known as cretins, who excel at using thousands upon thousands of words to say nothing at all.
Since the Michael Moore tribe has officially become Stalinist and banned any more speech critical of Moore by their new Mooron administrator, Moore's America hating idiotic lies and propaganda clearly show that he and all who listen to him are ignominious and should be forever banished from society.

ignominiac

A term based on ignominy and maniac.
This is a person who is intent on being a noted authority or discoverer by the use of such things as selective plagiarism, rampant falsification or just plain ignorance. When this results in public shame and disgrace, an ignominiac will persist nonetheless and may ultimately become a glorious antihero to some.
The term could also be used for a rumor monger - well-known or otherwise.
An historical example of an ignominiac is Willard Glazier who (in the 1880s) visited the area of the upper Mississippi River in Minnesota and came up with his falsified proof of the actual ultimate source of the river which he named after himself. Eventually the Minnesota legislature ordered schools to not teach his findings as fact.
