To use man logic and financial wisdom to show your superiority over everything female or liberal. The ultra male.

To use caveman tactics to subdue your female partners.

The man showed his honerism by walking three miles to the stadium rather than spending $10 for parking.

Honerism is what caused the male to throw his female partner against the wall when no condom was present.

In sportcasting, having a bias toward your hometown team or toward the team for which you play/used to play.

The local newspapers practice homerism, predicting that the hometown teams will win and complaining about the refs when the local teams lose.

Being blindly devoted to your favorite sports team wether they are good or not.
Saying clearly untrue things about your favorite team (i.e. Jamarcus Russell was the best qb ever)
Should only be used in a derogatory way of describing an annoying fan (i.e. Lakers "fans")

person 1: I can't believe kobe didnt get that foul call, he got hammered there
Person 2: Dude, no one touched him, you can clearly see in the replay no one was within 3 feet of him
Person 1: Thats b.s. man its just the angle of the camera

The act or an example of repeating mindless cliches or sayings that do not even make sense in the context.

A common Hornerism is

*sighs* "Man, I'm up to my elbows in alligators and busier than a one armed paper hanger in a pile of quicksand and that is, is the bottom line."

This would only be a Hornerism if the person who said this just got back from a 2-hour lunch with perspective "customers" who just happen to amount to no business.
