ability to understand in a non-judgmental way why another person or people may need or want to enjoy marijuana.

I don’t like weed myself, but I have hempathy for anyone that smokes because it’s none of my business, and I don’t know what they’re going through.

Hempathy 

1: the action of and understanding regarding hemp issues, problems, etc, and being aware of, being sensitive to, and vicariously experiencing the feelings, thoughts, and experience of another in the cannabiz of either the past or present without having the feelings, thoughts, and hemp experience fully communicated in an objectively explicit hemp manner.

Hempreneurs understand that in order to have good relations with the farmer and processors one must know how to have a little hempathy in the cannabiz space. (Hempin' ain't easy.)

Unc. n. 2.) contextual Simppathy from a male to a female.

Himpathy 

Sympathy for male perpetrators of violence against women, rather than for female victims of male violence. It is mostly displayed in rape and domestic violence cases, resulting in a slap on the wrist, if anything.

Example of himpathy:

Mother: Your honor, this man kidnapped and raped my daughter at gunpoint and has shown no remorse. Please hold him accountable by sentencing him to prison.
Judge: Prison would be very hard on him and cost him his job. The poor man has suffered enough already. I'm sentencing him to 6 months of probation.
Mother: But your honor, what about my daughter?
Judge: Well maybe she shouldn't have been wearing a skirt. She was clearly asking for it. Next case.

Someone who can discern when a nearby person is secretly carrying marijuana.

That damn dirty mooching hippy is a total hempath - he could sniff an ounce of marijuana hidden within five balloons deep up a mexican's ass from across an airport terminal without even turning his head.
