A Hagan is the best guy you will ever meet. He is sweet and always knows what to say to make you feel better. He can make you smile or laugh no matter what is going on in your life. He is one of the funniest people you will ever meet. He has the purest smile even though he doesn’t show it off that much. He is adorable even though he denies it every time you say something about it. He is an awesome guy that has a lot of interests that you will soon become obsessed with as well. He is helpful and kind no matter what. He will always feel like your best friend no matter how long you’ve known him. He can be awkward at first but not for long. Count on lots of inside jokes if you befriend a Hagan. A Hagan is perfect.

A sunburn or suntan focused on the left arm. It is caused by the left side of the body being the only half that gets exposed to sunlight while driving. Presumably, it would be located on the right side of the body in countries where they drive on the left side of the road.

Boffin
British slang for a scientist or technical expert, esp . when the speaker is not certain of the expert’s specific field of study. Not necessarily derogatory, but typically used by persons without a technical background. In the US, the equivalent would be “egghead”, “squint”, or “geek.”
Origin of the word is unknown. Started sometime in World War 2. Given the typical evolution of British slang, could easily have started because what these experts did was confusing or “baffling” to the common person.
