Happening

In reference to the M. Knight Shyamalan film, The Happening. The word, "happening" is used sarcastically in context. If something is "happening" it sucks, is boring, is stupid or is a flat out waste of your time.
Wow, this party is really happening right now.

Now, that's happening.

happening

A hippie word originating in 1960’s American counterculture which essentially just means a mass gathering of ‘heads with music or some theme of cultural importance or some sort, such as, but not limited to, a peaceful protest or demonstration. 'Happenings' blurred the rigid lines between music concerts/festivals and the rest of the world, helping incorporate psychedelic rock/jazz and funk elements into everyday life. Previously, music had mostly been listened to on records or enjoyed by a select few in a stadium or amphitheatre. Happenings allowed music to be heard in parks, city streets, and rooftops, allowing the soundwaves to reach more ears than before, allowing for a subconscious shift to take place in local area residents, giving cities like San Francisco the renown they have today as a city of music and arts, and more!

A happening represented the forefront, or the evolution of consciousness. If you were dropped out, turned on, and tuned in, you were part of it... even if you didn't even know it.

Happening

But that’s what happening here, isn’t it?
Hym “Right but you’re using the power of promotion against me. That’s what’s happening. Also, I don’t think Russell appreciates being called a narcissist all the time (and for that reason I think your diagnosis is wrong)....”

Iam “Holy shit dawg! Bison is delicious!”

Hym “Huh?”

Iam “Yeah, I saved you a bite.”

Hym “ A bite!? What happened to the rest of it!?” *Nom* “.... Yah, thash gud...” *Nom*

Iam “Right?”

Hym “Mmm... Ok. Back to what I was saying...”

Iam “Ha! Look at this!”

Hym “Stop interrupting!”

Iam “No look!”

Hym 😤 “... The Joker tried to warn you? THAT’S ME! Hahahahaha! Is that what I did? Ha! Hilarious!”

Iam “Heh, yeah... I hate watching stuff like that...”

Hym “I’ve completely lost track of where I was going with this... I’ll come back to it. That’s funny though.”

Vas happening

Devised by the good-looking, one and only Zayn Malik from One Direction.

Don't you dare saying ''What's Happening?'' it's VAS HAPPENING . You're allowed to say 'vas happenin' or 's'appning'.

It's Zayn's unique saying but apparently you're allowed to say that too.

You can't help but loving Zayn and his super cute accent.
There once was a group with Liam and Niall

Vas happening boys? Vas happening boys?
They lived with Zayn and their room was vile

Vas happening boys? Vas happening boys?
Did you know, Harry's such a slob?
He needs to win the xFactor 'cause he can't get a job

And oh, Louis needs a boat
He dresses like he owns one
'cause he's got no other clothes
They really need your vote
Vas Happening boys? Vas Happening boys?
Mick Jagger could be Harry's dad,
Vas happening mum? Vas happening Mick?
When Liam sings he makes his face look sad
Vas Happening song, vas happening sad?
And Zayn, the master of echoes
And Niall was raised by leprachauns
so he won't ever grow

And oh, Louis needs that boat
He dresses like he owns one
and it's becoming a joke

They really need your vote
Vas happening boys? Vas happening boys?

This is actually happening

A phrase for use to highlight an ensuing awkward or unbelievable event. Mentioning that it is 'actually happening' helps to address either the awkwardness or awesomeness in the situation to everyone present. Therefore, can be used as a positive reinforcement to encourage the behaviour or as a negative reinforcement to discourage the offender.
Use in positive situation: Three hot women approach man and his friends in a bar and ask if they can join them.
Lucky Man: "This is actually happening."

Use in negative situation: A friend among a group starts to complain about other members of the group in an irrational and mood-ruining manner.
Any other group member: "This is actually happening."
