A student from a liberal arts college on top of a hill in St. Peter, Minnesota. Demographically, Gustavus attracts almost exclusively affluent, white teenagers from the suburban Mpls/St Paul area. Known for its athletic culture and exception cafeteria, these Gusties live a fit lifestyle. They need good health to survive the Arctic, windy climate that settles in for much of the academic year. Ugg boots and black Northface jackets are the protective uniform of choice for female Gusties, while the male students prefer to drink (preferably Keystone light) until they are impervious to the cold.

Despite the weather, Gusties venture down their hill to local house parties most Wed, Fri, and Sat nights. Other popular social traditions include raiding the on-campus Dive to pickup drunken freshmen, 'blacking out' for important sporting events, and creating themed parties such as 'Golf Pros and Tennis Hoes.' Special drinking holidays punctuate the year with Homecoming kicking off the fall and Case Day, a Saturday where each Gustie attempts to consume an entire 24 pack of beer in 24 hours, ringing in the spring. Some students reject this mainstream party culture for sobriety, but outsiders seldom observe their mysterious activities.
Mankato State Student A: What do you say when drive up to Gustavus to party with some classy ladies?

Student B: Yeah bro let's do it. I'm lusty for a Gustie.

Gutierrez

Gutierrez is a god
Gutierrez by 73836842 June 6, 2018
A band whose support is mainly grassroots, collected through incessant touring. They aren't mainstream, and therefore aren't widely known or popular, but have an incredibly large fanbase. The members met in college and started a band, originally titled "Gus." The name was changed later to Guster, and has remained so ever since.

Guster is a kick-ass band and anyone who says otherwise is wrong. Their harmonies are excellent, lyrics innovative, and didn't have to sell out to be sucessful.
They've put out several albums since their beginning in the early 90's: Parachute, Goldfly, Lost and Gone Forever, and Keep It Together. I own all four, so should you.
Kid A Who Wouldn't know good music if it hit him in the head:Hey, what's your favorite band?
Kid B Who's Awesome:Guster.
A:WTF IS GUSTER?
B:A great band, here go to their website.
A:Ewwww I hear a new sound that doesn't sound like everything else pumping out of my pop/rock radio. I HATE IT.
B:You suck. Go listen to My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy, or someother piece of crap music.
A: Okay, since you told me to, I will.

gussied up

Something gussied up has been made more attractive, but in a showy or gimmicky way, so it’s often not intended to be a compliment. It can also refer to dressing in one’s finery for some special occasion, when it is intended to be taken more straightforwardly. It is usually considered to be an American expression, dating from the late 1930s or thereabouts.
"I have a hot date tonight, time take a shower and get myself all gussied up."

the greatest band ever, NOT from Massachusetts as many people think (they grew up outside of the state) but went to Tufts in Massachusetts so they consider themselves natives (which is cool by me!)

More from Urban Dictionary
West Midlands slang word for rockers, bikers, greasers etc. In the late 1980s it was used by the UK music press to refer to a specific scene centered around the bands Pop Will Eat Itself and Crazyhead. The term never found favour with readers of 'the inkies' (Sounds, Melody Maker and the still extant NME) and was soon dropped. Now often used in predominantly working-class areas of the midlands and the north to mean someone who listens to rock-derived music and/or dresses in a manner that suggests they affiliate themselves with rock music of some kind.
Some grebo passed with Sabbath playing on his stereo.
The Poppies are at no. 17? God, a grebo band in the charts!
They're playing nu-metal now, bloody grebos!
