A word used to describe an individual deprived of a reasonable amount of common sense or intelligence. This term is usually used as an insult referencing the public service ad on Down's Syndrome with Wayne Gretzky that came out during the mid-eighties.

Point to the subject of the insult and yell out, "GRETZKEEE!!!!"

Gaetzkeeping is a unique type of cognitive dissonance wherein the legislator quietly shows their guilt or complicity in a criminal activity, only to be busted for it a few years later.

The politician opposed a human trafficking bill in 2017. In 2021 he was accused of an improper relationship with a 17-year old in a stunning example of gaetzkeeping.
