fudanshi

Boys who enjoy yaoi (a genre in Japan that contains sexual and/or romantic relations between two men); literally translates to "rotten boy"; corresponding female : fujoshi

Fudanshi

A boy who enjoys yaoi. This word is commonly misunderstood for a boy who enjoys Yuri (a boy who enjoys Yuri would be called a himedanshi, which literally means princess-boy). Literal translation of Fudanshi is “rotten boy”. Although it has originated from negative sources, the word has been reclaimed.

Person 1: Wow, he reads yaoi? Is he gay?
Person 2: No, he’s straight. He’s probably just a fudanshi.

Fumarello

In the original Battlestar Galactica series, the fumarello is a fairly large cigar. Typically seen near or in Starbuck's mouth, much to the dismay of the Cylons, their chest armor and Starbuck's girlfriend Cassieopia.

In the original 1978 episode "The Man with Nine Lives" Starbuck enjoys smoking a good fumarello, which is really just a cigar.

In the 2003 re-imagined Battlestar Galactica series, fumarellos are not referred to with special names, but they are noted that they are made of a plant product called fumarella leaf.

fu man shalit

A cross between Fu Manchu and Gene Shalit, a fu man shalit is a mustache that is similar in shape to a fu manchu mustache but instead of being thin and narrow it is bushy and full like the mustache worn by film critic Gene Shalit. Sometimes this results from somebody trying to wear a fu manchu style mustache but lacking the patience or skill to maintain it's slender shape.

Paul Teutul, Sr. from American Choppers has worn a fu man shalit for more than 40 years now.

Fumanchuesday

(noun) - a holiday celebrated on the first Tuesday following No-shave November; a holiday created for individuals who have successfully made it through No-shave November; an alternative for indivuals that decide to opt not to participate in Mustache Monday which is normally celebrated by wearing a mustache on the first Monday following No-shave November; Fumanchuesday takes place on Tuesday, when a man (or bearded woman) wears a Fumanchu (Handlebar Mustache). {This holiday and name were first created by JA McCarter AKA The Foo Man, who wore a Fumanchu on the first Tuesday following No-shave November in 2009}

Dustin: Hey man, what happened to your Novembeard?
JA: Don't you know that the first Tuesday after November is Fumanchuesday!?
Dustin: Hey man, you are really cool! I want to celebrate Fumanchuesday too!
