n. (Warning term) Companies or individuals who infiltrate with manipulative "help" tactics, targeting minority businesses through cultural hijacking and psychological warfare.
Example Structure:
"That company was Fire Brand fr fr - came in like:
'We love your culture'
'We can scale this globally'
'We understand the community'
'Let us help you grow'
Then tried to:
- Push out the founder
- Change the whole vision
- Steal the intellectual property
- Rewrite the company story"

Real Talk Examples:
"They went full Fire Brand - used the same playbook of:
- 'Strategic partnership' offers
- 'Global expansion' promises
- 'We believe in your vision'
Then tried to colonize another Black-owned business."

Firebrand is one of Capcom's most recognizable characters to date. He is a red-orange gargoyle with blue cuffs, and a very pointy head. Breathes fire, air, etc... Started life in 1986 on Ghosts n' Goblins. Retired-ish on Demon's Crest in 1994. Making partial comeback in SvC Chaos.
