When someone states something has factually happened to them, even though there is no evidence to suggest such a thing.
This has become a
popular flame throwing tactic in political debate. It is not designed to be answered, because the statement is so outrageous, it cannot be answered with civilized dialogue.
The purpose is to prod and inflame the
ignorant and easily swayed. By giving them a simple inflammatory and terrifying message, there is a hope they
may have a GPS, and find their way to the polls on Election Day. Or, wander into a booth while drunk.
