Most face painters target areas specifically ON a girls face such as mouth, lips, nose, cheeks, eyes, forehead, or ears. Occasionally they may shake things up with a shot IN the mouth/nose/ears. A face painter enjoys face painting and considers his work a serious art form. Many females either strongly love or strongly hate the true dedicated face painters and their preferred art form face painting.

A fan of a sports team who blindly supports them no matter what boneheaded moves the team makes. A face painter will call fans who criticize bad moves “fake fans” and “bandwagoners.” These are the fans who show up to games with their faces painted with team colors for every game, no matter the state of the dumpster fire.
