Expoxsplaining
A combination of expolighting and doxsplaining: an exposé that includes personal information is presented as a rational, justified explanation to the target and the audience. The perpetrator frames the release of addresses, workplaces, or family details as “necessary context” and explains in detail why the target’s own actions made the expoxxing inevitable. Expoxsplaining maximizes harm while maintaining a narrative of reluctant accountability.
Example: “The call‑out thread included her employer and photos of her children, with the author writing ‘I didn’t want to do this, but she left me no choice.’ Expoxsplaining: doxxing dressed as reluctant duty.”
