Eta Ring
One of the narrow classical rings surrounding Uranus, located approximately 47,176 kilometers from the planet's center.
The Eta ring is positioned between the Beta and Gamma rings and is distinguished by its complex internal structure.
Its primary dense component measures approximately 1.6 kilometers in radial width, making it one of Uranus's narrowest rings. However, it is accompanied by a much broader and more diffuse component extending across approximately 40 kilometers.
Unlike several other Uranian rings, the Eta ring follows an orbit that is nearly circular.
The combination of a dense, narrow core and surrounding diffuse material makes the Eta ring particularly interesting for studying the distribution and movement of particles within planetary ring systems.

"The Eta ring of Uranus contains an exceptionally narrow central band of particles accompanied by a broader, fainter region of surrounding ring material."
