Dibby-dibby

Caribbean slang, mainly used by Jamaicans and people of Jamaican origin, indicating that something or someone is extremely lacking or of low/poor quality. Especially common outside of Jamaica, in the Caribbean communities of New York, London U.K., Toronto and GTA (Greater Toronto Area).

A single Dibby is less frequently used and is usually paired with another similar meaning or negative word.

"I paid my good-good money for a chicken curry dinner and all I got was this dibby-dibby likkle plate of scraps."

"They gave me a giant burger bun with a dibby-dibby peice of burger inside, CHA!."

" Reserved a luxury car for rental online and when I arrived in person, they handed me the keys to this dibby-dibby car instead"

Dibby

A term that refers to a character or symbol within a franchise or stream of media that is used as a way to promote the brand. An example would would be the minions from Despicable Me, or the Porgs from Star Wars: The Last Jedi. This was a term invented by the YouTuber "I Hate Everything", so all credit goes to him.

Person 1: "you see that new dog movie, Show Dogs?"
Person 2: "no, and I don't want to. Talking dogs are used in so many movies because they're such a dibby"
