A rare and refined form of dry humor, delivered with deadly seriousness and accompanied by a high forehead, receding hairline, or full monk-style haircut.
Often misunderstood, always underappreciated — except by the performer himself, who maintains a 100 % laugh rate, as he is the only one who gets the joke and the only one laughing.

A true deeppan artist is typically also a dad joke connoisseur, known for delivering punchlines so subtle, they often pass unnoticed — or are followed by a long pause and a concerned glance.

“Was that a joke?”
“Yes. It was deeppan. You’re just not ready.” 😐

Deepanshi

The Hindi name Deepanshi literally means "a part of an earthen lamp". However, in the colloquial sense it is used to refer to a person who is of a really sensitive and caring nature.
