In the final days of DEC, the DECtalk IP was sold to Force Computers, Inc. in 2000, and then sold to Fonix Corporation (now SpeechFX, Inc.) in late 2001. DECtalk was made famous by its inclusion in the 2010 space simulation game, Moonbase Alpha
