A clever way to disarm a person's sarcasm. Also known as counter-sarcasm. Usually implemented through a series of well rehearsed facial expressions and body language.

(n) From cute-ism. A stock pose, affectation or mannerism designed to create a specific effect on the beholder. This is often to look cute, but can be used to provide a feeling of amity, intimacy or other emotion. A stylised form of non-verbal communication, specific to an individual or individuals.
