A Covid party is a gathering held by somebody diagnosed with coronavirus to see if the virus is real and to see if anyone gets infected.
A 30-year-old patient died after attending a Covid party, believing the virus to be a hoax, a Texas medical official has said.

When a group of 2 or more individual hang out together that are not part of the same household.

The government does not allow you to be with people that are not part of your household. So therefore if you hang out with anyone you have a chance of spreading covid-19.
