Close-open

In the restaurant industry, a close-open is when a restaurant employee locks up (last to leave) or ends work at closing time of the establishment, then opens (first to arrive) or begins work at opening time of the following day
Sorry dude, I can't hang out tonight. They got me working a close-open.
Two close-opens in a row?!? Is that even legal?
