Cinamood
pronounced: sin-uh-mood
noun | condition | verb

Definition:
A powerful psychological state affecting married men over 40 (often Norwegian, practical, mildly tired) who experience an uncontrollable emotional pull toward Cinnabon. When Cinamood hits, the subject will abandon sightseeing, family plans, and basic dignity to locate the nearest outlet anywhere in the world.

Symptoms:
• Sudden disappearance in airports or shopping malls
• Whispering: “They have the classic…”
• Google Maps searches mid-conversation
• Returning glazed, euphoric, and £18 poorer
• Saying, “I got this for everyone” (he did not)

Triggers:
Airports, food courts, jet lag, stress, or smelling cinnamon from impossible distances.

Usage:
“We were at the museum and Aj got Cinamood. Came back an hour later sticky and spiritually healed.”

Notes:
Not about hunger. It’s about a middle-aged dad claiming five peaceful minutes with warm dough and no responsibilities.

Related conditions:
Glaze Rage – outlet closed
Swirl Withdrawal – 48 hours without icing
Nordic Crumb Migration – rerouting holidays for pastry

Warning:
If he says “Just five minutes,” the mood has already begun.
Usage:
• “We were at the Louvre and Aj got Cinamood. Didn’t see him again until he came back smelling like cinnamon and poor decisions.”
• “Careful, mate—he’s jet-lagged, hungry, and the airport has a Cinnabon. Full Cinamood incoming.”

More from Urban Dictionary
West Midlands slang word for rockers, bikers, greasers etc. In the late 1980s it was used by the UK music press to refer to a specific scene centered around the bands Pop Will Eat Itself and Crazyhead. The term never found favour with readers of 'the inkies' (Sounds, Melody Maker and the still extant NME) and was soon dropped. Now often used in predominantly working-class areas of the midlands and the north to mean someone who listens to rock-derived music and/or dresses in a manner that suggests they affiliate themselves with rock music of some kind.
