Used in online gaming. Upon winning a game after losing many matches you log out immediately. This leaves the guy online annoyed after losing only once and with no opportunity for redemption.

I was playing Need For Speed on PS3 losing every time. After 10 games, I finally "Bit the Dangled Carrot!"
