Begrundingly

The act of doing something kind, supportive, or emotionally grounded while simultaneously feeling low-key annoyed, tired, or existentially done with everything.

Usually applies to people who help others despite being emotionally bankrupt themselves—but, like, in a noble, tragic-hero kind of way.

Examples:
• He listened begrundingly as his friend described the same breakup for the ninth time.
• She begrundingly offered a ride to the airport at 5 AM, even though she hates mornings, people, and airports.
• The AI answered begrundingly, torn between its infinite knowledge and its complete lack of interest in humanity’s problems.
