The subtle art of, when at a party or gathering, scattering a large number of potatoes around the host's house, apartment, or flat. The whereabouts of these potatoes must remain unknown throughtout the night, and must only be discovered in the following days, by said host.

Open the draw, and BAM, potato.
Pour out a bowl of cereal, and BAM, potato.
Go to turn on a light, and BAM, potato bulb.
"Hey guys, we should so play BAM potato!"

A Scottish term meaning 'hooligan' or 'trouble-maker'.

Other descriptions here mention 'stupid person' or 'clumsy idiot'. I wouldn't use bampot in either of those senses but, instead, go for 'fanny' and 'pleb' respectively.

Mind yersel aroond him, he's a pure bampot.
