Que está distraído, desubicado, fuera del tema.
Es una expresión del norte argentino, es un término gauchesco y criollo. Se refiere a alguien que pasó la noche en un velorio, sin dormir, por eso su falta de conciencia al otro día de la vigilia.

El destacado compositor Gustavo Leguizamón describe esta expresión y ejecuta una chacarera que compuso estando -según él- aveloriado ("Chacarera del Aveloriao", Cuchi Leguizamón, Vivo en Europa, 1991).
