An algorithm, replete with the biases and ignorance of the programmers or HAL 9000s who created them, that fucks up your access to everything you need to live a life. Often takes the form of poorly programmed bots rejecting or ignoring resumes. Swap in the term "home loan application" or "college application" for "resume," and you can see where this is going.

Algoflood

Algoflood (noun):
The overwhelming influx of algorithmically recommended content on a user’s feed, triggered by minimal engagement with a particular topic or subject, often exacerbated when the topic is broadly popular. Typically results in a feed dominated by repetitive or similar material, regardless of the user’s deeper interests.
Example:
"After liking a single post about sourdough bread, her social media feed was caught in an algoflood of baking tutorials and recipes."
