Get the academy of the sacred heart mug.Now with over 1,000 students, this school was once a good college prep school, now turned into a fallen apart waste of money. Students should expect nothing but disappointment if attending there now. Things took a turn for the worst a few years ago when the school ran out of regular printer paper and handed out assignments on green colored paper. That's how broke it became. The good teachers are starting to leave one by one, and the current principal is making the school more like LIC high school (and that is NOT a good thing).
While the school does get students into colleges, they do a mediocre job at best. But the biggest issue is the overcrowding has led to several problems such as: oversized gym classes, health in the AUDITORIUM where nobody can hear shit, no pep rallies due to the auditorium reaching maximum capacity, and a lack of desks for the cramped classes, leaving students to sit on the floor or share the already tiny desk space with others.
WHAT KIND OF BITCH ASS SHIT IS THAT? Seriously, this school might have been good five years ago, but it's gone off the deep end. Staff pick favorites and let some get away with harassment and bullying, the faculty have censored students opinions, and the teachers are given jobs they don't want to do just so the school can save that $$$ and not hire anyone else.
One little plus, I hear they added Physics back. I guess that's a good step...

Get the Academy of American Studies mug.The premier all-girls catholic prep school in Philadelphia. The "Teach them what they need to know for life" motto is very fitting. St.Julie is a prominent figure and should be as she is their foundress. Whether it's statues or her feast day, the girls are aware. The girls her are respectful and truly come out of their shell. They don't care what people think of them and speak their mind. While most are athletic, many also spend the majority of their time in the dance studio or in the Connelly arts building. They defy many of the all girls school stereotypes in that the girls are almost always kind to each other. Door holding and hellos are common and many girls are quite nice. The girls like to have fun, and often gripe about the amount of work but for the most part get good grades. Baked goods are coveted at ND and when you miss your assigned snack day for your put in the mead hall with Grendel. But while this school is excellent in all academic, athletic and social aspects, they lack in the boy department. Unless you know boys from your childhood or they live around the corner, you don't meet guys through ND. The crazy good atmosphere here makes up for the lack of guys. From their IRISH sports bras to their ND socks, these girls are sisters neath the gold and blue and seem to adhere to the Honor Code. GO ND!

1) The Academy is a great school. The teachers are nice, as are the students. I have tons of friends from all different walks of life.
2) A school does not make a person -- people make the school. When you attend St. E's, and you strive to be the best that you can be, your high school experience will be phenomenal.
3) What people post on this website are most ludicrous lies that I have ever heard. Trust me, the school is not at all like this. When vulgar people have nothing better to do but sit around and criticize a high school that they do not even attend, you can tell that they obviously have too much time on their hands. Do not believe their lies!
If you are planning on attending the Academy, I strongly recommend it. Do not take the reviews on this website seriously. The school is beautiful and I can guarantee that you will be happy.

Get the Academy of Saint Elizabeth mug.A Catholic, Co-Ed, Private school located in Richfield, Minnesota - only two minutes outside of Minneapolis. It is a school filled entirely with white kids and the typical black kid is looked on like a wild animal - and are marveled at. The cost of tuition is currently $12,500 and increases by about 600 - 1000 dollars a year. Starting in 2007, every student gets a laptop to keep which just shows how wealthy the school is. AHA is known very much for their Boys and Girls Hockey programs who have won state 5 times in the last 12 years. The football program isn't doing so great right now, but will be in the next year. There are many exclusive drugs that only the wealthy can afford and an unbelievable amount of alcohol - even freshman are known as drunks at times. The teachers are generally good, with the exception of a few Science and Religion teachers. The school's graduation rate is 100% and 99% go onto college. The curriculum is incredibly difficult and some consider it harder than community colleges - even for freshman and sophomores. The average ACT score is around 26 and there have been several students with 35's and 36's. Students come from all over the state to go to AHA. It's feeder school is known as Blessed Trinity, which is next door, over 90% of those students end up at AHA. Other schools include: Faithful Shepherd, Annunciation, Nativity of Mary, and St. Johns of Savage. Thanks to the laptops, work is rarely done during class and students can e-mail, play games, facebook, and shop online all day. AHA is better than Edina Public School - though they think they are better - we ALL know that they are just another PUBLIC school and can't compete with our money, status, and class.
