A stear is someone who has control issues who has to be in command even if they are not worthy of command or have basic control issues or will lead or stear you into a horrible situation. An overly controlling influencer.
An old term in the days of the real gay parties. Before the inclusive culture happened. Because before you couldn't be a copy cat stearer or quearer. Everyone had thier own character they developed no one was copying and you were not allowed at the party if you had certain issues or were a mimic copy cat.
So they would find stearers because they would use drugs or other things to stear the party and scene not allowing people to be themselves. Which was the backbone of the real gay scene befoe the inclusivity modern era.
