Awkward Ice-Skate

The awkward moment between friends, when one, particularly keen on ice skating, is promised an opportunity to participate in this recreational sport with other friend(s) but then at the last minute said "friend" refuses to participate leaving the other on an ice-prairie of not having anyone to skate with.

Furious hand gestures are then made, mimicking pirouetting motion and fist shaking in rage.

"Hey Jude, do you fancy going ice skating, on the new Christmas rink in town?"
"Yeah, I promise you we'll go next week"
"Sweeeeeet"
*Next Week*
"Lets go to the ice rink then!"

"Nah, it's too cold"

seasonly awkward

when you don't know whether to wear shorts or sweatpants due to the awkward weather conditions and others' opinions. usually takes place in areas such as New York or New Jersey during April/early May, and no one quite knows the attire to wear. similar to socially awkward, but this is centered around the time of year and what people wear

Amanda's wearing leggings and Uggs, and Jen's wearing shorts and flip-flops. Its definitely that seasonly awkward time of the year.

Awkward Slice

The slice or slices of pizza that's left over after it's been equally divided out.

Can be a awkful nucence if not called. To call the awkward slice simply shout 'awkward slice' before anyone else. As there can be a second or third awkward slice these should be called too, asap.
