For younger people in a relationship, young meaning 18-23. When either your parent(s) or your partner's parent(s) successfully cockblock your chances of getting laid. A wingman is unable to prevent the cockblocking because of the intimate time alone with you and your partner. Phone calls, texts, or interruptions are the most common nuances of a parental cockblock.

For people older than 23, are you seriously dependent on your parents to allow a parental cockblock? Wow, your life sucks!

Any book that contains directions on how to make or "cook" a variety of substances, be it legal or not.

EX 1a: Hey John, where did you get that awesome salmon recipe?
EX 1b: I found it in this chef's cookbook.

EX 2a: How do I make the stock solution for a Nessler's reagent?
EX 2b: I dunno, check the cookbook.

EX 3: The local drug dealer was arrested and on the scene officers found a cookbook with instructions on how to make various narcotics.

Anarchist Cookbook

A book first compiled and released during the height of Vietnam war protesting, intended to be a guidebook to civil disobedience by explaining how to create destructive substances and various techniques for undermining or just screwing with authorities. All methods described within were totally accurate at the time of publication and were reportedly researched and taken from various military books the author found in a local library.

Nowadays the term applies to any of the many print and online publications that deal with how to create malicious substances from household items. These publications are only spiritual successors, the original author of the Anarchist Cookbook claims he has since changed his views. The book only remains in print due to the underhanded dealings of the author's publisher.

Break out the old Anarchist Cookbook, we'll make some napalm.
