Gollum Bangs

(n); Long straggly hairs sprouting from the hairline which can most likely be found hanging straight down the forehead of a large and unattractive young woman. They are too thin to be classified as actual bangs, but not thin enough to go unnoticed. In layman's terms, the fat girl's "point of no return" in caring about her appearance. Most likely to be accompanied by a ponytail, t-shirt, and Birkenstocks.

emo bangs seem to be what lables a person emo. They are side bangs cut shorter than the rest of the hair and cover most of one's face. They are normally parted to one side and cover an eye. Both emo boys and girls have emo bangs.
