the unexplainable affect that the internet has in increasing the amount of one's courage and gall. for example is the trash talking which goes on during video games, even though in real life you most likely would not be heard saying those things to other people.

Devastatingly addictive and time-sucking internet sites such as Facebook and Second Life. You think you can just try it a few times and before you know it you have to do it before breakfast, and instead of lunch. You cruise the PTA meeting for new Mob Wars victims, and find sleep no longer matters. These sites are responsible for much of the decline in American productivity. No manufacturing base left because we all have to work in offices with computers so we can check out LOLcats or youtube. Better yet, work at home to minimize the chances of the boss seeing your amazing porn sites.

e-laid

A term that I coined for the act of a male player of a MMORPG helping a seemingly female player in some way solely because of her gender. This is referred to as "trying to get e-laid" because the male is doing it solely because the person in need of help appears to be of the opposite gender, hence it is sexual in nature, but still taking place on the internet. The geeky male does it because he holds some small hope that it could develop into an e-lationship.

Ironically, most of the female characters in question turn out to also be males IRL, and this is often revealed after a lengthy period of cyberstalking.

Dude, just admit it: you only gave her some money cause you're trying to get e-laid.
