the most minimal form of an invitation, but not quite reaching the level of an unvite. used to make an offer, while indicating that ones presence is not mutally desired. frequently used by a couple to a potential third wheel. commonly phrased by using "if you want."

me: kim and i are going to the bar around ten. you can come too, if you want.

you: dude, that was such an undervite.

UNDERINVITED

To be told there is an event or occasion occurring and that you will be contacted,but as it approaches you never hear more about it.

I was supposed to go to Will's birthday party but never got a evite or a call I guess I wasn't uninvited but for sure was underinvited.

A person with less knowledge who attempts to appear more intelligent by providing a solution that has already been established with the intent to take credit.

Jacob flagged down his supervisor to discuss a problem and solution that he had overheard his coworker Cece describing. He regurgitated the situation which left Cece feeling completely underminded as she knew all the intricacies and Jacob had clearly taken credit for her solution.
