Mayhem in the A.M.

Verb. The act of consuming copious amounts of alcohol before 12:00 noon. To begin drinking adult beverages early in the day, as early as 7:00 AM, which is when many liquor stores open. Also a way of managing a hangover with "The hair of the dog" method.

Many hardcore alcoholics practice Mayhem in the A.M. daily, starting the day off with a shot and a beer before everything else
