mash-up

a mash-up is slang for a get together of similarly minded people so that they might partake in the consumption of drugs and/or alcohol. people on a mash-up get mashed.
mash-ups usually take place at night, but usually go on well in to the morning of the following day (they tend to wind down when the alcohol/drugs run out). unlike a cotch, mash-ups can take place anywhere, in or outside.

H: YOOOOO MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN, on for a phat mash-up tonight?

Mashupera

Noun. A piece of music consisting of disparate elements, a number of which have been appropriated from other recordings in much the same way as a mashup. In contrast to a mashup, a key element of a mashupera is its link to opera music. The use of the word "opera" denotes that the piece either features samples of opera music or is longer in length than a mashup ("opera" therefore functions in the same way as in the term "rock opera" to suggest the epic and theatrical nature of the piece).
