Thanks for Partying

Used to rely an awesome time between friends. Instead of apologizing for what you've done, this is a way for your friends to affirm that you had an awesome time. Hold your head high, you made the party. TFP

Thanks for your input!

A corporate phrase that could either mean "thanks for your input", or, more cheerfully, "fuck you!"
Employee 1: "That proposal of yours will cost way too much money and isn't technically feasible."

Employee 2: "Thanks for your input!"

thanks in advance

An expression of entitlement disguised as gratitude. The implicit message in giving thanks for something that hasn't been done is that it WILL be done. This expression also excuses the user from having to provide actual gratitude after the request is completed.
Have those reports on my desk before you leave today. Thanks in advance!

Thanks For Playing

The phrase "thanks for playing" is said arrogantly towards someone who you've just proved wrong.
Dustin: "Michael Turner led the league in rushing in 2008"

Craig: "That would be Adrian Peterson not Michael Turner...but Thanks For Playing!"
