Whole Lotta Red (WLR Day) is a day representing Playboi Carti’s famous album: Whole Lotta Red. This album, released on December 25th of 2020, was by far his highest ranked album and is still loved by millions across the world to this day. The 25th of December is also the day of Christmas, so with Christmas and Whole Lotta Red dropping on the same day, fans described Whole Lotta Red as, “the greatest Christmas gift in rap history,” which is how WLR Day was created. It is, by far, one of the most celebrated rap holidays of all-time.
