Hard House 

Hard House is nor like usual house music, nor like hardcore. It is an underground style of music, sigificantly faster than Tiesto and Paul Van Dyk styles at 150bpm.

Hard House is hard and fast, with an arm of it called NRG being a even more extreme style of hard house, many producers of which are also heavily involved in the metal scenes. Producers include Grady G, Rodi Style, Firefox, Alex Penn, NICK the Greek and many more.

Hard House and Hard Dance are different. Hard Dance includes Hard Trance, Bounce/Scouse and other styles.

Hard House is considered more gritty, darker and generally high quality productions. Many hard house DJs and Producers are also involved in other genres under psydonyms.

House of the Rising Sun

One of the greatest rock songs of all time. The best known version of the song was done by the Animals in 1965. "Rising Sun" is an old british term for whore house. Whether or not that is the songs intended meaning is unknown.

Remember that scene in Casino where all the guys are getting killed and they play House of the Rising Sun. That was awesome.

take it to the house 

Commonly used in sports, to "take it to the house" means to score a point in a big play. The term is almost always used in the context of American football, usually after a player gets a large breakthrough play and takes it all the way to the endzone after a long run.

This term is also applicable in American football when a player catches an interception and runs it all the way for a touchdown (coined as pick six) or when a player returns a field goal kick that was either short or blocked (coined as kick six after the 2013 Auburn-Alabama game).

monkey-house

this term can be used, depending on the context, to define either of 2 things

a) a ghetto (socio-economically disadvantaged neighborhood populated, mainly, by ethnic minorities) public school where most, if not all, of the kids have or have had problems with one or more or even all of the following, among other things: being a run-away, truancy, the law, hard core drugs, prostitution, alcohol, teenage pregnancy pacts and curfew violations

b) an offensive term for either the psychiatric ward of a regular hospital, the local half-way house, or for a specialized mental health facility (such as Insitut Pinel in Montreal, Canada).
