Bait

Usually associated with doing some kind of illegal/disobeying activities.

When someone is being "bait", it means that they are not being careful in whatever they are doing, and are likely to be caught.
If a situation is "bait", it means that there is a large chance of being caught at whatever you are doing.

Jevan: Oi, lets go do some shotties in the smoking area.

coon baiting

The act of purposely taking damage in a video game so the players hero has low or red health. The result is that retards will get coon baited into recklessly charging the low health player and die in the process. It is the ultimate coon outplaying tactic.

Player 1 "Im not going to heal so I can bait some coons in"
Player 2 "Coon baiting I see"
Player 2 "Holy shit, that coon is rage charging you"
Player 1 slays coon.
Player 1 "Coon was successfully baited"

V8 bait

A tuner car that is typically 4 cylinder turbo that is putting out a lot of power and doesn't look like it (can be stock look or rice). There are many cars that can be V8 bait, the most common are Mitsubishi Evolutions and Subaru STIs. Although, even Honda Civics or similar type cars can be made into V8 bait with the right parts and tuning.

These cars due to appearance get V8 owners into thinking they could win a race against the V8 bait, when in reality they would get beaten very badly.

"Haha some guy in a IROC-Z Camaro tried racing Jake's V8 bait STI on the interstate yesterday. The dude honked and tried to floor it past him and Jake left him in the dust."

"That little Civic looks so unassuming until you see the turbo under the hood. That's some serious V8 bait."

Bum Bait

In any video game (typically Halo: Reach), offering one of your teammates as bait to the enemy team by standing perfectly still, then proceeding to kill the idiot who tries to kill the bait.

"Stand with your back to the enemy so they'll come over."
"Why?"
"So you can be bum bait!"
