Toyotal Recall

The phenomenon by which every defective model of Toyota vehicle (essentially all of them) is taken off the road. Tragically, Arnold the Governator and three-boobed hookers from Mars are not involved.

The 2010 Prius has brakes that don't function properly, making it the latest victim of the Toyotal Recall.

To change the meaning or interpretation of one's original message or statement when such message or statement has been determined to have been viewed or received unfavorably by the listener or audience to whom such message or statement has been directed.

President Obama, when reflecting on his recent statement that the Cambridge police acted "stupidly," remarked that he should "recalibrate" such a statement in light of the Professor's uncooperative behavior.

Rexdale

I have four cousin that live there. I visit them every now, and then. It is indeed a neighborhood plagued by extreme poverty. Three of my cousin's friends have been killed so far, and there's probably more coming.

To top it off, two of my cousins are in a street gang, so I worry about them as well. I used to enjoy coming down there as a kid, but now that I see it for what it is, it's sort of depressing. While I'm playing computer games, and trying to find a part time job, they're out robbing stores, and getting into gang fights.
