Gen X 'Catastrophe'

Coming from (in)famous greentext repost, marks state where (wrongly) it is stated that "Gen X has it too good" and couldn't cope with it. Examples provided, were "1999 and Gen X Disillusionment" - citing Office Space, Matrix, Fight Club and maybe even Taxi Driver. While the reading of the example was more of "wtf, we had it best, no chit-chat, just work and no socialization, do job head out..." (akin to hyped-autism, than "open-offices DEI-disaster") than "I hate my office cubicles and meaningless rat-race job and life"...

Similar to Millennial Chiller, Millennieitis.
Adam: "Do you have bad tumblrism example I can use as meme?"
Beth: "Better! I have Gen X 'Catastrophe' !"
Adam: "How so?"
Beth: "GXC is... when you think how good you had it as "generation" akin to nowadays, in past; only to miss one important remark-"
Adam: "Yeah?"
Beth: "Imagine: you enjoy cubicle work for that you don't have to chit-chat!"
Adam: "Why not WFH then?"
Beth: "I guess they miss human contact..."
Adam: "Oh, so generally, it is missing 'mark', isn't it!?"
Beth: "Got it! UrbDic is tho more verbose on it!"
Adam: "I see! Good catch. Thanks!"
Beth: "Sure!"

Gen Beta

The generation after Gen Alpha, spanning from 2025 to 2039, apparently. At the time of writing this, people in this generation have only been born for less than a year. However, some stupid parents have probably already bought them their first iPads.

Gen Z 1.0

People born between the years 1996 and 2003

Started school during the new millennium/new century (both starting on January 1, 2001) and also during the Bush administration, grew up with 2000s media (TV shows, video games, music, etc.), spent most or all of their high school years before the Covid pandemic, can remember the Recession and how it impacted the world, grew up with social media such as YouTube, Facebook and Twitter and not Instagram, Snapchat and TikTok. They do not participate in crazy TikTok challenges either.
Gen Z 1.0: "I remember the 2000s. Hannah Montana, High School Musical, Webkinz, Club Penguin, Nick before they got rid of the splat logo in 2009, pre-2010 Cartoon Network, late 2000s era of AMVs and YTPs on YouTube, etc. Ahh, good times...."

Gen Z 2.0: "Yo chat, wanna see how many baddies I can rizz up while I snort all dez tide pods? I finna play Fortnite after I see dat gyatt. Also, I stole a bunch of shit from my local high school because I be doin' da devious lick challenge"

People born between the years 2004 and 2011

Started school during the Obama administration and also after the end of the Great Recession (meaning they either don't remember it or weren't alive during it), started middle school before the AI boom, graduated high school in a post-Covid world but still within the 2020s decade, spent a majority of their childhood post-Iraq War but pre-Covid (the peak is one's 8th birthday), they're more nostalgic over the 2010s over the 2000s for that reason, etc.
Gen Z 2.0 is a different breed from Gen Z 1.0

For example, while ALL of Gen Z 1.0 can actually remember a decent amount of the 2000s (or even all of it in the case of it's older members), Gen Z 2.0 either can't remember it or wasn't alive during it (depending on when they were born).

Gen Alpha

Generation Alpha is the demographic cohort succeeding Generation Z. Generation Beta is the proposed name of the following generation. While researchers and popular media generally identify the early 2010s as the starting birth years and the mid-2020s as the ending birth years, these ranges are not precisely defined and may vary depending on the source. Named after alpha, the first letter of the Greek alphabet, Generation Alpha is the first to be born entirely in the 21st century and the third millennium. The majority of Generation Alpha are the children of Millennials. Generation Alpha has been born at a time of falling fertility rates across much of the world, and experienced the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic as young children. For those with access, children's entertainment has been increasingly dominated by electronic technology, social networks, and streaming services, with interest in traditional television concurrently falling.
Those kids are born in gen alpha.

Gen Z Stare

A stare or gaze when a person, usually a millennial or older, seems to lack basic knowledge and understanding, and may have a sense of entitlement. The look usually gives off “Hoe, you can’t be serious?” “Are they being for real?” “Girl…what??” and varies from person to person, but is distinguishable.
Are the pork ribs halal?”
