Totally different from southern VA... Full of fake people who all only care about money. Teens are in cliques all they do is drink, smoke pot, do crack, have sex with one another sober and not. They think there life sucks when in reality it really doesn't. They just don't have goals and everything is given to them. Home of fake tans all year round. And don't really let newcomers in the cliques. I would know, i've lived here for a total of 9 yrs. (I lived other places this is by far the worst) Chicago(5yrs) was pretty good... Tennessee(3yrs) was pretty good to. But geez here it sucks.

northern virginia is filled with super rich parents who give there kids whatever they want when they want it. Also filled with teens who do whatever they want whenever they want.

Salem, Virginia 

A small town that seems hopelessly dull and dreary. In actuallity, it surpasses anything bonerific that crosses your mind. Don't go into the southern vecinity, or you may loose your asshole virginity. The town and its minions worship the art of football, and all it's pothead players of greatness. No money goes into edjucation, causing more people to fall into drugs, alcohol, and sex. It's a great place.

The snotty, arrogant, elitist, bitchy attitude that ALL the residents of Northern Virginia possess. Northern VA residents think they are better than everyone else on Earth, and they want you to know it. They go out of their way to talk down to anyone that they consider "inferior", and they love to make those people feel like scum. If you do not have a college degree, or work a blue-collar job, you do not exist to a NORVA resident, unless they can belittle or demean you in some way. Also, the Northern Virginia Attitude is the extreme rudeness and air of superiority that NORVA residents display at all times, in all places that they go. You can always tell when a person is from Northern VA, no matter where on the planet they happen to be. The person with the NORVA attitude values money over substance any day. The most important things to them are the cars they drive, the McMansion they live in, the money they make, and how they can show other people that they are better than they are.

NORVA resident: Oh my GAWD, look at that girl who is taking the bus! She should really go kill herself since she isn't driving a BMW like I am!

Regular person: Well, she may be taking the bus, but at least she has a soul...unlike you!

NORVA resident: Yeah, I sold my soul for my McMansion..but I'm STILL better than that loser!

Regular person: Umm, how long have you lived in Northern VA?

NORVA resident: Like, my whole life! Totally!

Regular person: I can tell, you've got the Northern Virginia attitude down pat. If the terrorists DO attack, I hope they bomb Northern Virginia first. It would be no big loss.

The state in which I live in.

While other states were building their economies in various ways, WV spent too much time and effort in coal. Which left everything else severely underdeveloped. When the coal companies left, which wasn't too long ago, they took with them what our state had been based on. So were basically behind everyone else. But we are catching up.

Yes, we do have shoes. Poverty has always ran rampant in this state and often times people only could afford the bare necessities. And sometimes children have fun playing bearfoot. We are Mountaineers.

Incest...yes. The strong family ties and isolation has resulted in may a incestial relationship. But that has ended for the most part in this modern age. But incest occurs in Alabama, Iowa, in every state really.

Yes, we have accents. We live in hollers. We warsh. But I am proud of my accent and so should most people. New Yorkers have an accent, so...

We are part of the South at hearts. We were a Union state but the Confederacy is much celecrated around here and many of our forefathers fought for that side. Especially here in southern WV.

Our main problem now is working-class men who fake back injuries so they can receive pain medication. And disabilty. Almost everyone does it. Some sell the drugs to other people, and make a profit.

I'm proud to be a West Virginian. A southern West Virginian.
