Blue Shift

The bestest most awesome game of all time "Half Life: Blue Shift" was , is an expansion pack for the legendary fps game "Half Life" in which you play as a kickass security guard called "Barney Calhoun" and do cool as fuck security guard stuff and shoot people and aliens and protect scientists! It is widely believed that this is canon and the backstory as to how Barney Calhoun in Half Life 2 came to be despite blue shift being developed by gearbox. It is worth mentioning Blue Shift is unique in how you , the protagonist are the only protag from a half life game to not get gman all up in your shit , this is because Barney is a fucking badass. The mod " Black mesa: Blue shift" is with mentioning as while not the offical blue shift it perfectly adapts what it was, is and was meant to be or what it could of been and helped people understand how kickass blue shift is
Blue shift enjoyer: man i love blue shift, the expansion pack for half life
Guy who is going to be shot: blue shift? More like blue shit!!!
Jesus: not cool dude.

Blue whale challenge

An extremely dangerous and stupid internet challenge created by an unknown group on Russian social media websites around the middle of 2010s. It presented itself as a fun internet game that the so-called "curators" would put in their status saying "I want to play a game with you"
To enter the game, a player would have to give their info away to the curator, who would then task them to download their app and then complete a simple and remotely innocent task, like watching a horror movie. Every task had to be provided with photo or video proof of completion.
As the game progressed, the tasks would get progressively more difficult in brutal, for instance carving a drawing of a whale in their forearm with a razor, with the later challenges being things like "getting rid" of a pet or breaking a limb and making it look like an accident to not raise suspicion.
On day 50, the player would be given their final task - deleting all the messages between them and the curator and taking their own life. By that point (or even earlier) if the player refused to do the task and/or wanted to quit the game, they would be threatened that their parents would be murdered if they quit, since the curators had all of the player's information. Those threats were completely baseless and wouldn't lead anywhere, but kids truly believed it and did what was requested.
The blue whale challenge is proof that we are devolving as a species. So much for all the work done in space exploration, innovation and scientific breakthroughs….

Blue Waffling

When a Democrat is hit with a tough question and immediately responds with such a dense, sticky stack of talking points that the whole answer becomes the political equivalent of an online definition everyone agrees is better left unexamined, as it tends to be regrettable upon inspection.”

Blue Goblin

A game master who looks harmless, writes everything down, and lets player stupidity ripen in a damp little jar until revenge becomes canon. He lets them rob the shop, seduce the mayor, knock up the barmaid, drown a relic, and name the horse “Tax Fraud.”

Three sessions later, Tax Fraud is sheriff, the lake wants child support, and the baby with a great axe rolls initiative.
“Jeremy is a Blue Goblin. He keeps receipts in crayon, files them in grave dirt, and reads them back during initiative.”
