Signal Hill mall

a sad mall in Statesville NC (also the only indoor mall) once upon a time (long long ago before my time) it was serving small town hometown realness but no longer :( Signal Hill includes 3 ish stores the biggest being Belk. the others are irrelevant (much like the whole mall) the bath and body works recently relocated to crossroads shopping center (a great place to people watch from your car while eating McDonald’s) small town tingz i guess. anyway rumor has it there are plans to demolish the mall and build a new one but this is statesville after all so expectations are nonexistent. driving to a nearby town is your best bet for most things.

signal text

a text signaling that something is taking too long to respond to your text. Basically sending a bunch of messages to signify that your waiting for this person to reply to you.

Man i had to send Marissa a signal text, because she wouldn't answer me.

signal to noise ratio

The amount of screaming one generates, in proportion to the amount of real content they are communicating.

People who grow up in empty households (often with a lot of older people) feel as though noise and signal are in direct proportion, which causes them to pump more noise in the hopes of generating more signal.
