The feeling that a person gets when they are very close to graduating from their undergraduate/ graduate/ doctoral /advanced field of study degrees.
It is characterized by having no motivation to complete your assignments or study for your labs/exams, or invest any effort at all whatsoever in the remainder of your course work simply due to the fact that you are SO CLOSE to being done.

It is sad how, while the one hand, I feel terrible over the most recent mass shooting, my mass shooting apathy has kicked as a survival mechanism, and made me feel less than I did when I first heard of the "Columbine" incident.

One of my favorite gemstones has always been the amethyst, but I think that it's pretty stupid that they make you pay so damn much for some colored quartz, which if clear would have been useless as a precious gem.
