Self inflicted theft is most likely to occur when people don't take the basic steps to secure valuable property, almost encouraging thieves to commit acts that relieve owners of property.
There's been a rash of break-ins and thefts of expensive vehicles in Snobsville as they sit unused in COVID, doors unlocked, valuables and key fob in plain sight. Somehow I think these stupid owner share responsibility for the thefts they bring on themselves as they commit acts of self inflicted theft.

A sicopath is a cross between a sicophant: someone who seeks to win favor with flattery, and a sociopath: someone with acute disregard for the rights and feelings of others. People who kiss up to Donald Trump, himself a narcissist (if not also a sociopath) for purposes of political appointment or advancement, with near no qualifications, integrity, or ability, willing to carry out his agenda over what is best, are sicopaths.
Matt Gaetz, Margorie Taylor Greene J.D. Vance and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. are perfect examples of sicopaths who know or should know Trump is evil, and yet spread his lies and promote his agenda in the interest of acquiring power thru him.

The situation where an accessory other vehicle manufacturers would put on their vehicles standard, just to get you to look at them over the competition, Fiat/Chrysler considers an accessory because it CAN, selling Wranglers faster than it can build them.
I feel so Chjeeped that our lowering riding SUV has grab handles standard, but with Wranglers you have to buy them.

A small group of people you both enjoy hanging out with and share your common sense approach to hygiene due to COVID-19, that are unlikely to infect you, or you them.
Honey, we should invite Nancy and her family into our COVID friend group and have them over for take out dinner. She and her husband have been working from home and are uber careful, both themselves and with their kids, about social distancing and masks/hand washing, etc..

Someone who pays a breeder for a particular type of dog may do so seeking certain characteristics common to that breed, that may not be found taking chances with a shelter dog which often is no less loving, and in need of a home, resulting in feelings of designer dog guilt.
No kill shelter or not, your spent $3,000 on a dog when countless adorable animals in shelters, available for free no less, need a forever home? What's wrong with you?!!! Don't you have any designer dog guilt?

A person who has no reason to leave the house, bathe, shave, or even change their clothes because that purchasable in life, which would normally take errands--and the social hygiene associated with same--can be ordered to their front door step from that "internet rain forest" which has all.
Dude, the dog smells better than you. When was the last time you showered?!
Dude: I think it was some time back in the "modem days" dude, I'm not sure! I'm an Amazon shut in!

The condition by which our horror over the reports of innocent lives taken, families destroyed, and not enough done to put an end to such gun based mass casualty violence, over time, leads to mere head nods of sadness given how commonplace they have become, and how in order for us to get through the day, we must block out what we felt over "Sandy Hook" or "Columbine," or "Parkland," multiplied by the number of times it has happened since.
It is sad how, while the one hand, I feel terrible over the most recent mass shooting, my mass shooting apathy has kicked as a survival mechanism, and made me feel less than I did when I first heard of the "Columbine" incident.
