Extreme selfie is a new high adrenaline sport that takes the fun of taking pictures of yourself in a typical manner in the most extreme environments you can find. Like river rafting or parachuting it takes a strong will to succeed and enjoy your greatest achievements. But now you can show your friends and save the moment forever.
Recently it has gone viral through the cheezburger blogsphere through the Selfie of the Day topic and other social channels. Although some entries do not portray only this kind of behavior or practice, some entries are very accurate at capturing eventful moments. Unlike other viral phenomenons like the "duckface" this practice takes effort to achieve and is unique because of the exposure to extreme situations.
